The Wauconda Police Department Telecommunications Center is staffed 24 hours a day and is the center of activity for all emergency communications within the village. The dispatch center is modern, with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and Enhanced 911 providing the core of the system.

The dispatch center provides dispatching services for the Wauconda Police Department and Wauconda Fire Department (District 34).
