AUGUST 3 – Annual Guns and Hoses Golf Outing, co-sponsored by the Fire Department, this event is our largest fundraiser that provides Christmas gifts and school supplies for area children. Golfers and Sponsors are needed! The event is held at Antioch Golf Course and starts at 8AM. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

The Wauconda Police Department provides public safety services to the Wauconda community 24 hours a day. The Chief of Police has a professional team of 2 Commanders, 6 Patrol Sergeants, 1 Detective Sergeant and 16 well trained, fully equipped, full time police officers. There are no part-time police officers.

The Department operates its own jail and Communications Center and handles emergency calls for both the Fire and Police. It has a fleet of 10 modern and well equipped marked police cars.

The Department’s civilian staff consists of an Administrative Assistant, 10 Telecommunicators and one part-time Community Service Officer. Records duties are handled by civilian personnel. Click Here for a Chart of the Organization.
